Today is stunning. —Renee Gladman
For our third volume, Lemon Hound 3.0 responds to this transformative moment in our literary community by calling for work that intends to smash, upend, rally against, dream of, reclaim, and redefine literary communities—we seek writing that is formally or thematically provocative, corporeal, experimental, interruptive, vulnerable, and visionary. Send us your radical present or your utopian future. Our editorial collective asks you to join us in forging a creative, empathetic resistance. Break the rules. Rewrite them. Reclaim the architecture. Don’t apologize.
Writers who have been consistently underrepresented—including but not limited to women, non-binary, queer, and disabled writers who are Black, Indigenous, and people of colour—are especially encouraged to submit work.
Submissions will open at midnight February 23rd and close March 2nd.*
Please send your work to our submissions manager. We look forward to reading you. * We have updated the submissions system to open now. Closing is still March 2nd. Peace. PS. OFF THE PAGE will be hosting a celebration of LemonHound3.0.3 on March 15th, 2017. SAVE THE DATE.
