Procrastinators rejoice! If you missed your chance to submit to our last call, you’re in luck: we’ve decided to ride the wave of volume 3.0.3 by reopening submissions for a spring mini-volume.

For our fourth volume, we’re (still) looking for writing that’s lively, fearless, thoughtful, and exciting. We’re looking for writing that engages the body, that embraces difficulty and complexity, that’s not afraid to get its hands dirty, that’s not afraid to commit. We’re looking for writing that can continue our conversation about how to envision the future and that leaps forward to greet it, whatever it is.

We encourage writers who have been consistently underrepresented—including but not limited to women, non-binary, queer, disabled, Black, Indigenous, and people of colour—to submit work.

We’re looking forward to reading it all! Send us your poetry, short fiction, and non-fiction. Submissions will open at 6PM on April 19th and close at midnight on April 25th. Please submit all work to our submissions manager.

Please join us in Toronto at 3:00 pm on April 28th at Knife Fork Book, located at 244 Augusta Avenue on the 2nd Floor, to hear work by writers including Trish Salah, Katherine Mockler, Tanis MacDonald, Zoe Whittall and Tanis Franco.
